support

hi i am new to the rib world but got my self a 5.4 metre avon searider then i bought a 90hp engine 1 question do i need the support that goes from the floor to the back where the engine sit on to give it more suppot or will it be okay with out them

For your info, I got prices for two of these from an Avon dealer for the SR 4 meter and it was under £60.
In the end I had some made up form stainless steel by a friend.

Hope thats of some help.

And yes you do need them.

good call these are such good boats for ribbing on cos they can take a beating so you can have a lot of fun as your skill grows. Getting new ones made up is a good idea as you can have them made a bit beefire which adds some more strength..

Sea Riders might not be the best looking but they are riugged, tough and reliable bit like Roguetta when you come to think about it
