I bought a pair of these last year and find them okay while out on the boat.

UV400 is the standard for protection. The main issue is dark lenses that do not include UV filters, because when worn, pupils will naturally dilate to allow more visible light in, and at the same time allow UV to penetrate.
Another consideration is periphery exposure to UV - it isn't only apparent at the front of the frame, so close fitting wrap frames offer better protection.

I've made a decision and ordered a pair of Gill Tactic: They are good value at about £35-40, and tick many of the boxes:
Floating
Polarised
Oliophobic
UV 400 (UV A, B and C)
Quality Optics
Wrap frame
...and I won't be devastated if I lose or damage them.

I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago.



Same thing but with a strap too-I've come close to losing too many pairs when I've had a faceful or looking to see what's going on behind.

Good choice. Thats the racing version Nos. They have the hydrophobic front surface as well. I've got a neoprene strap to use with the Tactic so fairly similar.

Think Gill might need to plan a restock...
