Errrmm...am i missing something?

How did they manage that? they just seem to fall into a hole. There's a tiny bit of wash then......whoomph, snorkel time .

Looks like full reverse bucket on a jet, he seems to tell the observer to hang on before he nosedives, it was a party trick that we used to do on the fireboats on the Thames when there were a load of recruits up on the bow.

Are MasterCrafts Jet drive... i though they were traditional shaft?.....it does look like that's what he did though....what a numpty

The first one (the Mastercraft) is a open bow
ski boat with a conventional inboard, probably with a
velvet drive. Depending on the particular hull, all he
needs do is chop the throttle and spin the wheel to
the correct side and the forefoot will catch and drive
under. He may have added throttle at just the right
time to drive the hull deeper.

Those boats are designed to go in a straight line at
36MPH, the violent turn is a result of having three
fins on the keel right under the tow bar...
