Thread revival

I have seen the marks in molds printed into the gel-coat too so yes, this may be what you have on your humber, these marks usually come from twatting the mold too hard or with the wrong tools.

Getting back to the original thread,
I've just sold my Camel to a guy who was running a new 2003 8m Humber. The boat had to go back to have the transom strengthed after 3 months after it almost dropped off. The hull then developed 3 large cracks and I believe is now being written off. Drop me a pm if you want to get in touch with him.

Thanks everyone,Humber were very helpful and will repair free of charge although unable to decide how it could have occurred, aparently the boat gets checked over 3 times before leaving the factory!
They are sure the crazing is superficial and so I,ll get them deal with another time as its a long drive to Hull and I,m keen to get the boat ready to launch, they have sent me a letter to this effect.
