I have always understood that when a boat sits on thr trailer it should be suported at the transom as if not it can result in a hook apering in the hull, but it suprises me to see so many boats sitting on trailer with too much overhang at the back! I think a lot of people do not give the trailer too much thought in setting up or maintance ether!
