Hi all still looking for a 3-3.2m rib I have seen one on ebay and would like a bit of info on it, the guy is telling me its a 3m ribtec but I can't find any info on it any help wouldbe appreciated

looks like a PVC tubed South African built Ribeye badged as a Ribtec

ribtec were bought by ribeye in 2001 and ribeye make i think its the t series they would give you the info you require

A friend of mine was looking at the small Ribeye ally hulled ribs at the boat show, it turned out they were Chinese made pvc tubed rebadged imports.

i think thats the norm i was looking at a bombard typhoon 4.2 ail thermo bonded pvc [made in china]

Seems the way of a lot of "Brands" these days!
Don't quite seem to have got it with RIBs...yet!
A friend in the Motortrade has just taken on the new "MG" franchise from...You guessed it...and I must say on first inspection they look extremely well put together,and high spec for the money!..
They certainly have high aspirations,and more importantly the huge investment to go with it!
Time will tell,although with a burgeoning and truly massive middle class home consumer base Driveing things forward.... they almost don't need the export Market these days!
I'm sure if RIBs were or do become a focus,they may well surprise us in the future!

Thanks for the replys, I got a deal on the above and I'm picking it up thursday and the trailer is being altered next saturday.
