Blackstorm - I like it as it is - looks great and the practical part of me (without knowing a lot of course) thinks you could always take out the rear two jockey seats

I'm sure a more experienced bod will tell you whether that's possible but to me it seems a logical option - best of both worlds

Keep the four jockeys, passengers usually feel more secure, and that layout looks good.

A good craft and sound engines, but the cost for self righting frame seems extreme and why is it needed unless you are planning going out in all weathers as the lifeboat crews do. If you intend leisure use then the self righting issue I hope not an issue. We operate without them and would not go out if conditions were such that we could flip a boat or even thought that could happen

Personally I'd ditch the rear bench seat and have 2 single jockeys and 2 doubles behind them. That's a personal preference though.

I think it is a much more "resellable" layout than you were looking at before and so should keep its value better.

If it were me I'd ask Ribcraft to fit the bench and jockies using bolts into nuts glassed (flush) with the deck so that you (or any future owner) have the option to remove / rearrange etc to suit changing needs.

Too right

yep I'd only put a Srimec on a boat if a contract stipulated it theres also a weight burden that affects the trim and obviously top speed a little

That's a much better layout, but with the four jockey seats and bench seat the console is further forward than I'd like it to be.

Depending on how many people you reckon you'll regularly have on board I would either stick with one set of jockey seats plus the bench, or ditch the bench and have 2 x single and 2 x double as suggested by Nos.

Oh, I wouldn't even consider having self righting gear. You won't need it, and even if you do it's unlikely to be the magic solution that you'd require at the time!
