What type of plotter are you using Tim - there are "integrated" units out there...

I had two aquatic AV units in 4 years, both ended up with cracking around the head unit fascia, have now gone over to Fusion. You can get a fusion bluetooth device as optional which would allow bluetooth of music from an Iphone. Go have a chat with a Fusion specialist.

Fusion do a little head unit, I think it's Bluetooth enabled but if not you can get a module for them for £40.

I've got the fusion 600 but have the Bluetooth adaptor fitted so you can use your iphone without docking it. Works great!

Fusion ms ra50 small head unit and you can fit a fusion ms bt 100 to it which is the Bluetooth interface device.

I'm looking at fitting this to my new boat, force 4 have pretty good priced units at present....

+ 1 for Fusion and blue tooth module as this is something I am also looking at Tim. I am looking at RA200 fusion series as it has 4 x channels (4 speaker outputs) rather than the RA50 which I think it only has 2 x channels.

Are you going to hear any tunes over 400Hp of erimtrudes at WOT?

Another Fusion fan here- RA-200 on mine.

4 speaker outputs - split into two zones , marine VHF receiver ( so you can actually hear stuff through decent speakers - but it wont transmit of course) , normal FM radio , ipod input via a normal ipod/USB lead and full ipod menu control on the head unit .

RA 50 came out shortly after I fitted the 200 - and probably would have been OK for me ....

I'm on the lookout for a reasonably priced stereo system and 4 speakers myself. Preferably with bluetooth to tether to my iPhone. I think the Fusion units are looking favourite so far.

Yep, saw the £90 one Jeff as I forgot to bid on that myself

I keep me eye out for a new one on the web and will post when I find the cheapest (this is my specialty being a Yorkshireman!)

Ra200 Prices

The best prices I could find are from mailspeed marine who I have used before and are good. Can anybody beat these prices

Fusion RA-200 Marine Radio, Marine VHF Radio Equipment | Mailspeed Marine

speakers

Fusion MS-FR6520 6.5" Marine 2-Way Speakers , Marine VHF Radio Equipment | Mailspeed Marine

and then blue tooth module

FUSION MS-BT100 BLUETOOTH MARINE MODULE FOR MS-RA50 MS-IP600G MS-AV600 MS-AV700i | eBay

Think this is the setup I am going for as don't need to worry about connection between iphone / ipod and fusion unit getting damaged / wet etc (just more things to go wrong with additional connections but everyone has thier own choices )

That's great wacky . We have gone for the 700 series and the blue tooth module , just a thing to remember that the I phone 5 will Not fit inside the latest Fusion 700 I series .even them saying it supports the Iphone , Yes old Iphone 4, Why Apple change the charging connections size, GOD KNOWS

There is a usb connector on the 700 series and because of the blue tooth module you can do the streaming thing or just fit it with a I pod and forget it
Now the job is getting them all connected to NMEA connectors
