Stainless Steel Anchor Chain?

Anyone know a good, cheap place to get this??

I'm looking at 30-40m of 8 or 10mm close link.

Don't think cheap, and 30 to 40M of Stainless anything belong in the same sentence.

Yeah I know it ain't cheap, but then it will look the mutts with a SS anchor as well!

Cheapest I've found is about 8.50 per meter from an ebay shop and not sure if that includes VAT or not........or even if the shop are declaring VAT!?

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Marine-Chan...Q3amesstQQtZkm

I was hoping one of you might know a foundry or somewhere that actually makes the stuff and will sell to the public!??!

I get the impression from the several widely varying prices I've had already obtained (ranging from 8.50 - 14.99 per meter) that this is marked up quite high as it's.......erm.....shiny!

Calibrated chain is manufactured to a better tolerance (ie consistent dimension of each link) so that it will fit a winch. Not necessary if you're going to raise it by hand.
