Stainless staple and hasp for bench seat?

Hello All

Any suggestions for a good supplier of a stainless steel hasp to fit on this staple please, to keep the bench seat closed?

Image shows existing stable, approx 65mm below edge of base where the hinged bench seat bottom comes down to.

This is on a Bombard Explorer 500, though I think the seat isn't to specific to Bombard.

Or failing that, who is a good supplier for getting a new staple and hasp to suit?

Many thanks as ever

Steve

Not took clear if the hasp is straight or angled.

Have you looked here:
STAINLESS HASP & STAPLE & LATCHES, MARINE GRADE
This looks like it'd be roughly right and has the advantage of twisting to 'lock' without needing a padlock if you don't want to use padlock...
76mm 3" Marine Stainless Heavy Locking Hasp & Staple 316 A4 | eBay Numerous people supplying it via fleabay.

Hi there

Thanks for that - looks a few options that will sort me out, so thanks.

Had been expecting it to be more difficult to find these, as the place that did some other work on the boat for me last winter kept delaying saying such a part was hard to find, so eventually I've decided to do it myself, and glad I did.

Cheers and thanks

Steve

UPDATE: Seacrew.com highly recommended for stainless steel fittings, though they look to do a whole lot more.

Mail Order Online Marine Hardware and Chandlery Shop

Just spoke with Phillip in sales and even though this was a small order, he was most helpful and it was a pleasure to put business his way. Will do so again for sure.

A real find - thanks!

Further update: wow - the items arrived here in Orkney less than 24 hours after placing the order.

Sigh - wish I'd decided to do this myself at the start of the year, rather than abortively waiting for a professional to get the " hard to get" part.

Excellent firm and excellent help from Ribnet - thanks folks!
