Stained gel coat?

Hi, i have just bought a second hand rib and noticed that in some areas the gel coat seems to have some stains that look like they could of been caused by oil or something but i don't know for sure? i have tried a heavy duty cleaner and t-cut but it doesn't fully remove the stains its almost like its got under the gel coat. Does anybody know of any products that would remove the staining or have i done all that i can? Many thanks, Tim.

Tim,
Try a product called Y10. Cant remember the manufacture! It is good stuff but wear gloves and eye protection!! & you will still need elbow grease ( i think you can get that in most chandlerys!!)

My Dad's boat got stained by an oil slick in Gibraltar from a ship flushing its tanks. He used some sort of oxalic acid based product that's like a gel you just paint on and it restores the colour (probably by bleaching out the stain).

I can't remember the name of the product though I'm afraid... it could have been Oxy-something or other?
