Exactly what i am thinking.. The boat is working too well to gamble on top speed or stability. Thanks again to all of you.

Certainly in my case they were there to treat a problem, which they did perfectly.
I wouldn't use them on an already stable boat.

Of course the real issue was that I'd put too big an engine on a small light boat in the first place.

Went really well afterwards though

Hydro plane wings

I added them to Marlin 16 with Suzi 70 on the back.
Huge improvement in steering and kept what was lively (too much) steering on track hands free without dampening.
Also added lift but more importantly on power on, it stopped bow pointing to the skies which upset my land lubbing lady! That alone made them worth it.

They are worth the chance as they are not dear.
Dont know about fuel performance tho.
