I see we have mostly traditionalists here...

I'm tending towards the dark...a little more stealthy! Sort of like the black on black for the MacMillan built.

We're going to do the same pattern as was stock - 5 rows per side plus a "T" on the bow. I think that these 20+ year old tubes are going to look pretty good after this is done!

I could be swayed though...

Dark, less dirt shows and we want these Yank owned boats to stand out from the crowd.

Cheers, Don

On second thought you might lose points at the Pebble Beach RIB concourse.

Cheers, Don

Oh no, you mean it might lose value if I decide to sell it in the UK because it's not original??? I just had to google what "MOD" was over there. Now it won't look like "ex-MOD".

I had originally gone with liking the light so it looked orig., but the dark has grown on me since we've scrubbed the tubes and they're back to they're orig. darker color.

Just ordered 195 feet @$1.30/ft. in dark grey! (measured that I'd need 166 feet, but want to make sure that I have enough).

I heard that original Avon stuff is $40/meter (~$12.20/ft) and sourcing generic from the UK is a little over 5 pounds / meter (~$2.44/ft) so I'm pretty happy on the fact that it matches and won't cost a fortune!
