SR4 Retubing

I have piloted many an SR4 with every imaginable engine combination however I have never owned one!

Last night the tattiest SR4 I have ever seen ended up on my doorstep and I took it.

The tubes are clearly knackered. So many big and small patches, A7 valves one works one doesnt. (made the mistake of taking the cap off to find the cap was the only part holding air!)

It needs new tubes

They are painted, horrible, crusty affairs. For a giggle I threw some nitro mors on them and it didnt even dent the paint never mind strip it. I actually think it has been painted with liquid rubber.

Anyway back to the point Craig....

How much are new tubes?
Can I get a kit and do it myself?
Does anybody have a second hand set?

Ideally this boat is going to be a basher...

A 30-50hp tiller steered missile. If they hold air and look well enough I will be happy

just got the bare boat, allready ripped the console off. If I can get a chance I will do a proper build thread on it
