Thanks I backed the holes with fibreglass matting then built them up with finely cut fibre glass strands and smoothed over with a fine layer of filler. I first tried rolling the flowcoat but couldn't get a smooth enough finish. So ended up having to spray the flowcoat. Rubbed back with 800 grit wet and dry and worked upto 2500 grit. Then machine polished with G3 cutting compound. A lot more work than I was expecting but worth it in the end. Now onto the console base and hull!

I've used Llewellyn Ryland 3957 tangerine. Seems to be the original colour. Thumbs

But isn't your SR international Orange? Sorry to ask but just thought I would check before you got too far.

The last 2 numbers of the serial number will tell you, if it's 95 ish or later it will be international Orange.

The Tangerine is the colour info I gave to Chris Moody was for his older pre 1995 SR, not a later one.

Hope that helps.

Mines 1986! Did just double check then, could have been embarrassing and a lot of work to redo!
