there's 19 Seariders on B&O at the moment - suggest you post a link direct to the ad - so people are sure they are talking about the same one...

If its in decent condition then somewhere around that mark. By the time I bought mine and converted it the cost soon shot up.
Best thing to do is view it and take it out yourself.

Looks really tidy Bob - if it was'nt so far away I'd also be tempted to have another one - seems a very good price - just don't tell hubby

Mine went well with a 60hp on it, well it did for half an hour.
I was advised against a 40hp on the basis I would get bored. I have a Yam 55hp on mine now, have yet to use it though as I ran out of duck tape to hold it on.

RIBase
They aren't really underpowered with 40hp, but I'd still go for a 50 and have power trim (which that doesn't have) as that makes a hell of a difference to the boat.

My SR4 with a 50hp could chine walk very easily. Just had to slow down a bit and trim out a little and increase speed.

My SR4 runs well with my Mercury 40 hp p/t i and is very well balanced i get 36 knots with all the gear full tank of fuel and girlfriend on on board and still manage to pull 5800 rpm with a 15 pitch prop and can trim it right out
I have kept my boat light weight though alloy a frame etc
