Well I finally got my replacement rib the other day and it was worth the wait. The tubes are pvc "hey you can't have everything" its a lot heavier than the last one and you can see the difference in the quality of build than the Chinese one. The cosule comes in at over 40kilos and is made of marine ply covered in fiberglass, as is the deck, the hull has got cross members on the inside and seems solid, in all I'm very happy with the outcome, I am not trying to say that its as good as some of the leading names, but after the last one it will do me.

All I can say is hats off to B.H.Marine for sticking to there word. here's a few pics.

Is the skeg and prop of your aux clear of the water when its tilted up.
I am about to fit the same aux to my boat.

Yes its well clear but mine is a short shaft.

Well just to end this thread, I had a problem with the replacement rib, the engine had been fitted wrong and the transom cracked, so I asked for my money back and was given a full refund on the boat. I will not call B.H.Marine because they have done everything expected when things have gone wrong, I think that there are a lot of sellers out there where you would have had a big fight on your hands to get your money back. So in the end it all ended well for me.
