A few options to investigate.

1) Make sure engine is in optimum rpm range, ie correct prop.
2) Check engine transom height and try adjusting upwards.
3) Adjust engine trim angle.
4) Fit trim tabs (doesn't always work)
5) Remove weight
6) Tune engine (ie bring back to factory spec)
7) Bigger engine

Hope this helps

A larger than 30 hp engine on a 3 m RIB would not be a good idea
Probably a weight distribution /trim problem.

The max is 30hp for it and I do not want to spend a lot of money on a new engine

Aerodynamic crash helmet like the speed skiers????

That is a LOT of gee gees for a 3m. Do you race it, or just need the thrill of more speed?

Engine max RPM at WOT would be a useful one as well to get a feel for your prop pitch.

....and welcome to ribnet!

A 3 mtr standard rib with a 30 HP is out of this world, that size rib is normally rated for a 20 HP. Can you post pics of that rib/engine combo.

Happy Boating

We have a 30 hp 2-stroke on a 3.77m sib and we're getting 29 mph with 3 people & gear. In that boat, I wouldn't want to be going any faster!

With a rigid hull, I could see going a few mph faster.

NCP - 29mph = (approx) 25 knots

Skinny - How heavy is your hull etc? Is it a Deep V? (Not a hull I'm acquainted with) Yopu are getting approx 2 knots more than I got out a lardy waterlogged SR4 with a 30, so you might get a bit more out of her, but your speed is in the right ballpark. Any idea of your WOT revs?
