Just bought

my copy from Aladins Cave ( The Moodys boatyard side shop ) near the Bursledon bridge on the Hamble.

Cheaper to subscribe by the looks of it which is what I will probably do, it is surprising that people who subscribe dont get it before it is on sale in the shops ?

HMS (RibInt) suffered from terrible distribution problems about a year ago. Same thing seems to be happening again. I have written to him and will post the reply as soon as it's received.

Rib International

Picked up a copy yesterday and at the same time picked up the freeby newspaper " All at Sea "

Have to say the " All at Sea " newspaper although not to do with ribs particularly, has a pile more content and a far better read

Why is R I so obsessed about testing boats that Joe Average will never afford ? The mag seems to assume we are all wanting to spend up to 50 K on a rib !!! Think not. Needs more tests on 5 to 6 metre boats ( secondhand ones as well ) which is what the majority of people own or want to purchase.

Anyway what do I know

Reply from HMS:
Rib International have appointed new carriers and by the next issue there should not be any delivery problems. We'll wait and see!
