Forget the train, takes forever. Nowt wrong with being a NWR but you have to have a Pro Sport or Med style rib and go out in wavelets higher than your transom

Regrettably it wasn't fuel ......the engine is damaged and it appears to be coming from the bottom end. So the call was needed

Jackeen, nope deffinately got the right man this time. I watched them defrost when they got home from an adventure, but secret is safe with me. Letme check my diary, hmm seems you were not that far away on Sunday when it must have happened. you should have looked out of the Port window on your way home.

The engine stopped rotating Beteen Hamble and Fawley I thought it had run out of fuel. Which surprised me as the Guage was reading 122 litres. I informed the CG and told him I didn't need assistance at that moment as I may well be able to get the boat going again. Anyway by the time I got the spare fuel out of the hold Hamble recscue were zooming out of the River, so we took a tow.

It turns out we did have 122 litres of fuel but the engine had a problem, ( for the Jackeens) I had the Boat people with us and Charlotte got a bit cold but that was waiting for a cab to get out of Hamble.

At leat Harry Redknapp can take some solace from the fact that at least one person in Southampton was more depressed than him.

Thanks pete the boat is back at Saxon and we have had a good look at in daylight and it's looking like a lot of spanner work, I just hope it's limited to the shell bearings.

550 hours but it's not the engines fault, The fuel was contaminated. It was such a beautiful engine as well
