Some nice bass and a welcome visit from a pod of Dolphins

Out on the rib doing some bass fishing and had a welcome visit from a pod of Dolphins.

Your not wrong, Autumn for the big ones, who knows what we might get, I have a target size in mind. The Fiiish Minnows are doing the business.

Don't mean to hijack bassribs thread but I fish them on the drift over shallowish reefs with a good tide run. Fish them as near to the snaggy stuff as you dare rising and falling the rod under control and wait for the slam. Light spinning rods and braided line essential in my opinion for the feel of what's going on.

Perfect answer.

They do have a little book now which tells you which size of body and which size of head is good for certain depths, though it's not hard to work out yourself. If too much line is drifting out the back of the boat and it's hard to hit bottom put a heavier one on!
