some **** has pinched my props..

Just been to check over my rib and some bastard has pinched my props..

these were 25" stainless Michigan Wheel counter rotating. Just checked up with the States and these are slated as $149 FOB Tampa/ prop. Havn't brought these since a while -- is this a good price???. Can land them in Europe at about 190 quid/prop VAT and duty paid. Is this a good price - havnt checked any UK or European supplier??

You need to make yourself a couple of clever locknuts which will confuse the bu**ers.

sorry to hear that news today, not good, they need stringing up the ba$****S, must be quite a specialist prop, did you have any special markings or etching that is recognisable on them for folks to look out for?

thanks JW and Chris- I dont realy see how i can make up a special lock nut- unless I use two and forget the split pin. The serial numbers are etched on the props - but feel i have fat chance of ever seeing them again. My concern is a place I thought was secure is in fact not

Sorry to hear about that Jonathan, I bought a Michigan wheel SS 19" prop back in May from the US and it cost me $180, sounds like you can get a good price!
