Solent upholstery
My upholsterer has disappeared and was quite expensive. Anyone have any recommendations in Solent ish areas.

It's not a cheap thing to get done, but done nicely it makes a massive difference to the Rib.
Twice now I have used Mark at Flew Sales - Fareham. Good guy, nice work.

We use Rob at Sandbanks Marine. He'll collect and deliver and remove/re-fit if necessary.

Waveline Upholstery, www.waveline-upholstery.co.uk, 01489 878408, they are in Swanmore, done a couple of jobs for me, very quick and reasonably priced.

There is literally only one guy to call you need to call in my view. He is good value and exceptionally talented. Finish is exceptional. Has redone upholstery on 2 Ribs for me now (Zodiac 550 Pro Open and Humber Ocen Pro 800). Excellent guy, personable, great finish. You may need to be flexible on timings but then he does work for some major Solent based Rib brands. His Name is Richard Proud - 07595 323 735. Be good to him, he is a great guy.

Hi I would second Richard Proud, however he never replied to my texts this year and I hear has now left Waveline and has 'left the industry'. Gutted as I need some work done also and he was damn good last time.

Sorry to hear that about Richard. If he has indeed moved on to pastures new, I wish him well. His workmanship and finish was excellent for me and agree sometimes a bit erratic on the text/call responses but I could live with that as the finish was good and everything was finished when it needed to be.
