Solent Ribs ? info please

Evening All, a little more of your valued help please,

Interested in a Solent Rib,, 6.9 with a 225 opitmax, what is the option on these please, good/bad ?, would you buy ?, hope to put on a hydra-hoist, 2.5 ton lift

Any help greatly appreciated

If its for pleasure cruising, cross channel jaunts and days out with the family and friends then an ideal choice. Lee Fairweather has been servicing my engines for a decade and never had a problem and would have absolute confidence in his ribs. That 6.9m looks very high spec with nice deck, electronic widgets, posh seats and over lay on the tubes

Probably a much better buy than a similar sized Scorpion IMHO.

I'd disagree with Pete's comments about the Scorpion
but the Solent is a well made boat. if it is Wayne's boat then that seems a fair price to me for a good boat with little use

no, but he might help with a few lessons on fishing and how to reel them in

Actually I stand by my comment, since they haven't made 6.5 Scorpions for a while I would prefer the Solent 6.9 particularly given the very high spec and little use.

What can I say, you're a hugely admired and respected member of this forum so I will bow to your opinion.

TJ you shouldn't have any problem using the hydrohoist with your boat I shouldn't think it weighs more than a ton.

It will be very nippy as well as looking good
