Solent Rescue One photos pt II

Morning all,

Well, she is afloat and off to Seaworks for the next three days.

Still some shake out work to do before we take ownership but she is operating!

We now need more people to operate both the lifeboat and our shore side SAR assets (including 4x4 beach patrol).

Impressive piece of kit - may she surpass all expectations.
I hope you get the additional volunteers that you need and would encourage anyone to get involved.
I am sure that the Redbay guys at the show, who are all lifeboat crew, would be delighted to be invited down for a "nosy".
Best wishes to you and all involved in Solent Rescue

I live 2 miles down the road and would be happy to volunteer (I'm unqualified apart form RB2 and First Aid though) - is there anyway to find out more about what is involved and volunteering?

I'll give you a call next week when work is quieter.

Thanks

Short clip of SR1 underway - moving to Hythe Marina

This was taken at the weekend (video wouldn't attach),

Moving the boat to her new berth in Hythe Marina.

Still needs a few finishing touches (cup holders etc) and then she will be ready for service.

Taken longer than expected but still impressed with the vessel.
