Just saw this. Daniel as I said earlier my last boat (Valiant V490) had a draining socket from the hull but the hull was also filled with foam and still absorbed a lot of water, enough to affect performance figures. The reason I know this is when I drained the boat some foam came out with the water (not a lot or anything to worry about, but it was still there!!). Water will always find a way in! Does your bow locker protrude below deck or is it fully sealed?

Keep an eye on your top speed and the level that the boat sits at just to be sure. You could always weigh the boat too as Richard B said.

the bow locker is not part of the hull and is sealed to the deck before the tubes are inflated and fixed down with self tapper screws i will ask the dealer
friday about the plug

emailed IBS today about the lack of hull drain plug i had a reply in twenty minute saying

all pre 2003 4m to 4.9m boats are filled with a dense water proof foam so no need for a drain plug all holes inthe deck should be sealed with sika flex stuff
but will not get into the foam as its water proof so it sounds ok

Mine was a year 2000 v-490 and definatly needed a drain plug!

i believe some of the newer scorpions do not have drain plugs also, when i questioned it i was told they will never get water in there so why have a bung!! lets hope theyre right
