In the meantime anubody have any ideas on what happened??

Ok this is it.

Carbs full of S**T. Compressions very low on 2 of the 6 cyclinders on each engine. Water in the lower parts .... you name it, I had it.... Will have to overhaul engines completely....
Ordered 2 *250 Yams HPDI 2-stoke effis. Be the fastest boy about town in two weeks. Very little delta in 200 vs 250. Got a deal from Yamaha in Belgium.
-15% off list.

If you're going to that expense, I'd have your fuel tanks drained 'cos it sounds like a dirty fuel problem to me.

As I learned to my cost last year, if you've got some poor fuel in the tanks, when you get towards the bottom of the tank in poor weather, it gets shaken up and overwhelms the filters.

If your boat has been left standing for a long time with some fuel in it, it may have been condensation that has caused the water problem.

I now try to leave my boat with full tanks for any extended period.

Nope the fuel going into the engines is "pure" tanks were drained and blowned out with CH3.OH - and on reflection the engines have been behaving on and off for some time. I know its a drastic measure but I need to rely on those engines 200%. What do i do if they give up the ghost in mid-atlantic?
Anyway what to do with money ? give it to my family? no way. Rather spend it while I can- and God said spend it, but give 10% to the poor..
