The public slip beside the upper ferry in Dartmouth was very slippery this year at anything below half water.
Didn't look like it had been cleaned off this year at all.

Hey Guys

Whatever doesn't kill you maks you stronger/wiser.

Use a rope and you can stay out of the slippy stuff. Low ratio if you've got it works a traet

Stu hi.

We managed as you say with use of the 4WD etc or using the ferry slip whilst it was over the other side.

I really don't like using a rope on anything as big as The Nashers Revenge, I just dont feel in enough control.

Hi yourself,

Ropes are good, use a 12 mill on your boat it will be cool. I bet you have one of those posh discreet towing hooks! what you need is an African hoe or fit an eye bolt that you can run the rope through. using just a rope around a towball isn't a winner.

Put the rope through the eye bolt or Hoe and put a bit on it you have all the control yopu need then. This system also lets you connect the rope and get tension before you uncouple you precious boat

The answer is superb. Best of all it has a camera at the back and you can see yourself reversing the ball on to the hitch.
