Sikaflex or Silicone
Ok I am goign to put my hatch in to the floor shortly.
But whats the best to seal it up. I will be banging some resin in arround the hole to seal the grp/ply/grp up.
Silicone or Sikaflex?

I'd use a butyl rubber type sealant for a hatch.

I used to be a major Sikkaflex fan, but I find this stuff to be even better. STIXALL, sticks anything to anything, sealing & BONDING. 
Comes in a variety of colours as well as crystal clear. Even claims it sticks under water. Doesnt seem to weather/ discolour as bad as white sikkaflex

Anyone used CT1, seen a demo in my local City Electrical, they glued 2 bricks together under water.

I wonder if it would work under seawater. I agree with Nos, sikaflex all the time.
