Nice fish by the way, what's the toothy one?
Those are frost fish, they are considered a rubbish fish so used as bait, the other is a blue eye trevalla which is extremely high rated as an edible fish. These are by catch when targeting broadbill. My daughter like to try and get shots from underneath before the makos move in.

We also live on the edge of a lake which is open to the ocean but prefer the offshore fishing.

Just returned from a trip up north where I towed the rib over 6000km chassing a few tropical fish on light tackle.

My daughter speared some Awsome fish too.

We are a family of 5 so eat fish regularly, though my daughter in the pic's compeats in all sorts of sport including triathlons (last one she won for her age group) so goes through heaps of protein. Tonight she ate around 300g of fish which she does several times per week.

We do also give fish to close friends and the lobsters mainly get given to old people who used to snorkell for them but can't anymore. My daughter loves the old fishing stories she gets from people and often the wives give her a cake in exchange ( though she doesn't eat cake).

Lobster hunting is the most challenging and quite addictive, there were 5 free divers already in the water yesterday at one of our favorate locations. After close to 3 hrs in the water the 5 men got out without any legal lobsters, me and my daughter took 10 mins to get these.
