Shipwreck men

Tv show on sky discovery channel, they do salvage and towing in miami and florida keys, making 500 bucks just to tow a boat back to marina. Pretty much dis regard any safety basics. Worth watching for shock factor.

Yeah, it's $5000 here and $1500 there, a $2000 payday - all for towing! I think I'm going to make sure I fit an extra couple of engines to my boat so I'll never have to be robbed by them or their UK cousins!

It's been on Quest before but it's being re-shown on Discovery: Shipwreck Men : Discovery Channel

I'm not sure if it's online, but think it's on Sky Catch-up.

Ive twoed a few people back and never did what I get for petrol actually cover the cost of the fuel or my inconvienance. Perhaps we shoudl all start charging a standard rate and that way it may become a standard rate for a tow. what about £200 a time ?

While the RNLI are free you have no market!

SeaStart membership is less than your charge too! With as many call out in a year as you want...

If you want to charge me I (or my insurers) will expect you to be liable for any damage you cause to my boat; you'll probably need to be coded etc.

I suspect your own insurers might have a view too, especially in light of this:

One day it will be you that needs a tow and you will be grateful for the general cooperation amongst marine folk that help you out of bother.
