Are your sea cocks open when flushing
Is it flushed via the freshwater tank
none of these get the suit on nipper

A useful sign to have above the loo

Only stuff eaten or drunk to be put in the loo.

Now where's Customs when you need 'em?

Dodgy-looking peeps importing from the wilds of Brixham! Probably had a job-lot of clotted cream on board.

Viv, we always thought you had good taste.
(Pete must've slipped through the net.)

Anyone notice 'Old Smokey' on E Bay yet?

Experience with new born babies helps keep you lunch down during the experiance.

Marine loos never work. They are to be avoided like the plague. Tim is quite right, nothing down there that you aint ate. Get a nappy bucket for the loo paper.
Infact use the nappy bucket instead of the loo. The old 'bucket and chuck it' method never fails.

The only one I have ever met that worked at all was called a Lavac. It had an air tight seal on the seat and lid and a Henderson Mk5 bilge pump to evacuate it. Had many hours of fun with new crew. When asked how it worked, they were told to close the inlet, open the outlet and give 5 good pumps and then close the outlet. It could take anything up to a week for the vacuum to break before you could lift the lid.

The ones with the silly little handle and a lever for pump and flush should only be used for liquids, so I recommend a diet of hot curry and prunes for 3 days before departure.
