Shakespeare V-tronix

Just want to say how a good a company Shakespeare Uk (who make Vtronix antenna's) are to deal with.
As you may have worked out, I'm a genius when it comes to anything to do with electrics SO have been searching around trying to find someone that sells 10 meters of coax with a PL259 on one end and a N type plug on the other. Could have bought the bits but unless a macro photograph shot at f2.8 on a 1 sec exposure would hold it al together I was a little screwed. Have never tried to solder anything and I've read that a N type plug is hard to get right?
So after having no joy I contacted Shakespeare asking if they knew of anywhere local where I could buy the lead already made up. A few days later I got an email off their production manager, Dave Manasseh. As a one off he was happy to make one up for me! 10 meters of RG58 with a N plug and UHF plug soldered on.
And even better for me the company is just down the road from Fleetwood dock where my parents live! They are going round to pick it up for me today.
I'm one happy chappy I can tell ya! I can not stress how nice and helpful Dave from Shakespeare is. A great company, so hard to find these days!

So as Matt H would say....YEEEEEHHAAAAA

Would also like to thank
Jamesthompson
In between me contacting Vtronix and them replying, James offered to make me one up for a very small donation to his Sea cadet's. Thanks anyway James

No But it's not looking good for me to go anyway mate. It's up in the air if I can leave her on her own.
But I tell ya what, I'll happily buy a Vtronix antenna again. I didn't even buy this one new off them and they still helped.
Got it off some dude down south with a shiny Yamaha

Been waiting for someone to say that.
At the moment it's up a very long poll, in the future I'm hoping for it to be on a longish pollthat's ontop of an A frame.
Antenna's and me don't mix so it needs to be as far away as possible.
