Seller beware - name and shame time.

If you're selling your RIB at the moment then it might be worth reading this to save you being scammed by yet another one of lifes losers who find it amusing to waste the time and money of honest working folk.

Just had my RIB up for sale on Ebay for a buy it now or best offer. With 4 days left to run on the auction and a great deal of interest I had an offer which I accepted and so the auction was concluded through the normal Ebay channels.

Sent the invoice off to the buyer and haven't heard anything since despite repeated emails and messages. All I have had back in return from them is spam email.

No option but to report the matter to Ebay and start looking at claiming my money through the courts.

The 'buyer' goes by the name angel_on_cloud_9 and is located in Brighton.

If you've got a RIB on the Bay then it's a heads-up for you. I'm not the first and I won't be the last but forewarned is forearmed.

Weird they would do this with over 400 deals and a 100% positive record. I notice they are selling a car which "must go this week as we need the space". In the last image of the car you can see a SIB or RIB on a trailer out the front.
