Self Righting Stuff

Hey i was just wondering if Self Righting Equipment is necessary for RIBs that are not going to be going far offshore or racing or anything? How much are they, ease of use, where do they mount, etc. Thanks!

Choppy - do a search on the forum for self righting gear or turning ribs over, its been debated to death.
