Secure Rib Storage

I would like to point out quite clearly that this is nothing to do with me and do not profit from it in any way!.This is through a company called Fairweather Marine and is located at Daedalus if you wish to find out more phone 01329 283500 .Once more it is nothing to do with me except the fact that I have just put my 9m rib over there and think it is great value for money and we all know in these times of boat ownership its great to be able to save some money.E-mail enquires info@solentribs.com

All the best Gary

That would be the same Fairweather Marine that have had several boats/engines stolen from outside their premises in Fareham then.

Obviously not the same place where the boats are stored, but it would still make me worry about their ability to decide what's secure and what isn't.
Do they have coded key entry, numberplate recognition and 24hr CCTV?

Nasher.

I think you answered your own question in your first opening sentence, its not the same location. As a commercial operator who needs the rib to earn his living Im sure you would understand that I would not place my boat somewhere where it is not secure nor would my insurers I hope that has answered your question. As for key entry and cctv this means nothing as we have seen on here before ( I refer to the Thatcham incident ) I hope this answers your questions, all Im am trying to do is offer members what I think is value for money its their choice Im not forcing anybody to do anything Gary

I used to fly from thier and it is secure .....

I had trouble getting on every time and I had passes etc . There is 24 hour manned security, big solid fences that you wont cut throught ( ever) and patroleld perimter etc .

THe CG chopper is worth a fair bit so they take security seriously ....
