Had a good wander round the show this afternoon, and as usual found it very interesting.
As always it was good to have a chat with Andre, and to meet up with a few ex-colleagues.
Some interesting boats out on the pontoons, and gear inside the halls.
It appeared every suspension seat manufacturer was there.
Wandered down to the diving tank at one point to say hello to diver 1, but you were emptying the tank 'over the side' at the time and looked a bit busy showing a young lady how the huge valve on your big Blue hose worked
Barrus had several sizes of smaller Mariner 2-strokes on display, 10, 15, 25HP etc, but for sale to commercial users only, which I'd heard about but not actually seen before.
God knows how some of the smaller companies with stands justify the cost each year. Rows of 6ft wide stands down one side of the 2nd hall each populated by a very bored looking salesman that didn't look like he'd spoke to anyone all day wasn't exactly inviting.
Some stands had obviously been left in the hands of the 'girl from the office' whilst the Sales Manager attended a very important meeting in the bar, which was busy by the way, and they either looked bored stiff or terrified somebody would ask a question.
