Thanks,

I think that I'll hang on to find a 4.7 or a 5.4.

I don't want to buy anything ready to go as I enjoy a good winter project

Thanks again,

Barry

One has just been listed on the bay, but it will be quite a trek. Ideal little project though

Hookay, I'll spell it out in big letters. It's TOO SMALL.
We have a 4m SR, if you hit a bit of sea with two adults and three kids onboard, the Missus WILL kill you as kids disappear over the side.
Either get rid of a couple of kids or buy a bigger boat.

That's the way you drive. He might be different. I'd get rid of the missus

What ? Take my Missus on a boat

The boat will be sans the Missus on a permanent basis, we both have our toys, mine generally have engines and adrenaline, hers have needles and sew stuff together. We've managed 25 years together without a major argument, don't want to take the chance now

I asked for measurements as I was thinking of fitting some mounting points into the floor so that I could swap out a bench seat for a jockey seat behind a glassed in console as the circumstances dictate.

I have the space to store an overall length of 30', however it's a few miles from home whereas I could put an SR4 in my garage. Likewise I could stretch the budget but that would mean selling more toys than I'd like to part with and wouldn't give me a winter project in the garage at home.

Thanks for all of the input.

For clarification, does the 4m measurement go from the transom to the outer edge of the front tubes or to the front of the hull ?

Thanks again,

Barry
