As for stereo I fitted the Fusion black box this year and no regrets keeps it all very minimal on the console

I was after some jockey seats really and does the fusion come with speakers? Much of a job to wire it up?

IMHO, any openboat coming into port producing 'toons' at on any level paints a picture.

A Gecko and earphones maybe on a long passage?
For me, I like to push that throttle lever to sublimity, and listen to the sweet sculptural rhythms of six injected pistons playing in perfect harmony and as the sound makes its way across the deck minglin' with the sounds of the wind and the sea you know, and all of a sudden I'm often overcome by a feelin' of brief mortality

Cause I'm gettin' on in the world, comin' up on fifty-one years. Fifty-one stoney grey steps towards the grave, you know, the box awaits its grisly load.

On a more practical note wouldn't a stereo playing loud enough to hear at any cruising speed drown out anything on the VHF? - it's hard enough to talk with your crew at 25kt+
I'd agree with you - but then we'd both be wrong

35kts - minimal wind noise and you can hear the stereo and the VHF (if it was receiving). Miss part of a call? - the VHF has replay!

:-p

I have no idea what you're on about - other than that patently, your orchestra is shy of two pistons....

Hi

Have to say I didn't get involved as it was part of the rigging for boat however, I spent a very long time choosing all my electronics before telling them what to fit and it does look good. it posed no issue to the yard rigging fairly easy they said- as for speakers we went for a suitable size on console but no it doesn't come with it - 50 or something-
