It's original at least, worth a shot. Plus it leads to the question "why do you ask?" With a reply saying "because I have a boat" can only help in terms of pulling. the incidental benefits of having a bird, other than towing your boat aren't bad either!

Great little set up:-).

I tend to find most small ribs (really most ribs) I've ever driven will fall to port whencoming out of water something. I reckon all to do the bits of metal whizzing away at back.

Vital on a little boat is getting the v to land as a v and not a _ .

As you get used to it maybe a tiny hint of right on the wheel as you are about to leave the water helps keep things level. Does for me :-)

Look to secure a weekend/day away next bank holiday....Calshot calls ..:-)

After taking it out for the trail a couple of weeks back, I have decided I will be replacing the console with a smaller one.

I have got a plan to modify a searider 4m console to suit my needs- normal one won't fit up against front console. I made some pretty bodge modifications my searider 4.7 console and I am not happy with them.

My plan is to convert an sr4 console to a single seater by moving the dash off the front and placing it on top. ( see what I mean in the drawings). This way it cuts out the extending dash, and also makes for a more comfortable seat for the driver (driver can make use of backrest)

You may have seen my thread about addition seating. With the extra room at the back, I will be putting in some sort of removable seating so if I have passengers they can be seated safely and comfortably.

I presume that I will be able to glass the dash on top of the seat, unless anyone has any other suggestions? Haven't seen this done before so will have to see how it plans out.Click image for larger version
