Searider 4.7 Refurb, (again)

Found a gem of a 470 recently. unused for the last 7 years but stored well under its own cover and when the previous owner couldn't start it, took it to a boat storage park and decided to sell it.
Similar to my Last MOD SR 4.7,its being treated to a no expense refurb to get it to a really high usable standard.
The tubes were really well preserved and not worn at all, Hull was also in pretty good shape apart from the holes all being blocked of with fibre glass and a few scratches as you would expect on the rear.
The battery was not secured in any way and nor was the fuel tank.. bloody shocking really!
Engine is the original 2001 50 f/s with 400 Hours and after a little fettling sounds really nice now . I will be taking the carbs off and untrasonically cleaning them also with a rebuild kit etc etc.
I know there are some folks who would like to see it so here goes...

Had to treat it to a new trailer on the day,Weather was shite but thank you BHG Marine and particular David the MD for locating me the right size trailer and arranging logistics etc. Its fits perfectly.

Are you going to keep the console and layout as it is?

Absolutely. they are what they are so to speak. the only changes I will make are to the seat upholstery and back rest.Aiming for maiden voyage this weekend so gotta pull me finger out!

Do you know what the fitting is below the D-ring at the bow, looks like a backing plate for something inside the boat?

It's for a second D ring inside the boat. My 4M has this. I suspect its for lifting. Very useful for tying gear to as well.

Nice orange boat pics do you ever want to get other coloured tubes and hull as ive seen your pics and you always seem to go for orange or grey tubes?

As said by Searider, its for lifting with a four point harness.Tried Clit Bang mould remover and works a treat

Gone for a full Hydrive Hydraulic system with Side instead of front mount as before.
Again tried clit mould remover on the tubes and Im really impressed with results

Clit Bang works a treat,especially in these parts.if you get it on your hands,takes ages to get it off. Had a 100 questions off the Mrs too!
