exactly, sea start is only active where they are gonna make money- otherwise they would go bust. So its no use to me.

Reminds me of a Ch16 call we had when I was on the south coast. In responding to about the 10th "out of fuel" of the day, my watch manager asked the cas vessel "are you a member of sea start". On getting a "no" back, his simple reply of "you will be in a minute" stopped another one from bothering the lifeboats...
