Parking?

Still trying to decide whether to go by car or train. Has anyone tried using any of the car parks close to the show site during the week?

I went on Saturday and parked at the shopping centre multi-storey just nest door to the show area (not sure what it's called, but there's a big M&S there!).

It was really easy, plenty of spaces. Cost me £6.50 and I was there pretty much all day.

Thanks Trickdog, I had heard that it was fairly easy to park at the week-end, but do the car parks fill up with town centre workers cars during the week? (I will most likely be going on Thursday next)

Parking at SBS can be easy if you use the Casino car park just north of the show ground off the dual carriageway £6- for the whole day and five mins walk into show

Hi Andy, yes pop down and see us, you may well be lucky to catch a ride as we like to fill the seats when we have an interested client, Berth 90, Parker 900 Baltic Safari with twin 300 Verado

Second that one - ideal (unless you're only going for a short visit). Note the pay booth is a little way in so don't just park by the Casino as a freeby!

Don't forget you can park in Hythe either in the marina if you are an MDL berth holder, or in the town and get the ferry across.

It is a very pleasant way to arrive!

Had a play in the Parker and it was great fun - not being a stepped hull means that it won't be as fast, but it pays you back - tight turns at pretty much full speed (it wasn't my boat and I hadn't driven it before) were easy, and I can see how passengers would get a huge thrill going out in this boat without being in any danger at - it just felt totally safe. Flat out over the ferry wakes no problem and even at 40 mph there was a big kick in the back from those twin 300's!

None of those - I wondered up and before I said anything Andre insisted that he ring Richard to come back to the boat so that I could have a go! Great fun it was too!
