Save Phace terrorist mask

Just thought I'd mention, John was jobbing out some utility masks recently and I bought one ..... for boating ? ... no .... power washing a 20 tonne digger.... yes

and its bloody brilliant

For years Ive endured sty's , and eye infections aplenty, due to blast back from washing things. Inevitably when you hit something with 1500psi of water, you will get some blast coming back at you, but when it contains fine grit which can be sharp, at considerable velocity, and hits you in the face, its not pleasant to say the least, and similarly , any organic matter will try the biology of your eyes to the limit, and to be honest .. you only get 1 set, so ya better look after them

So to do the job I don a blast suit,.. Ive tried goggles, glasses, visors, hoods, you name it, none of them work, they all steam up inside, and with glasses you still get a face full, or somehow restrict your vision when in use, in some other way.

The SUM (sports utility mask) however doesent fog much(if at all), (was a slight breeze today which helped) doesent restrict your vision , protects your whole face, and more importantly, when I rinse it on the outside whilst still on, to get clear vision again, if any water runs down inside it, it self drains, to keep the visor clear .... brilliant

Todays mission was to clean a 20 tonne machine of about a good half ton of the stickyest clay you could imagine from its undercarriage, it is thee worst material for getting blast back, bar none. Because I can spend more time looking at where the lance is pointing, rather than looking out the side of a hood, and the corner of my eye, without proper eye protection,... I got the job done in a lot less time

There you go John .. another marketing opportunity

I could have PM'd you but I thought I'd share .. will post on my plant forum for you
