Yep mercury & yamaha I think both make jets they usually use a standard powerhead with a jet lower unit but a 50hp jet will usually use say an 80hp powerhead to compensate for the loss of performance in the jet itself

We really like jet outboards. For flood and shallow water work they're perfect for what we do.

Maybe with St Kilda on the horizon it might have been justifiable.

Dave the only bad Laphroaig is the ten year old the others are fine
