Rule mate bilge pump

Anyone found any problems with the above (automatic variety, internal float)?
In normal 'switch' mode it works fine but the float doesn't activate it. Connections are good. I haven't got the model number but its a 500LPH job.

I have had a few probs with the Mate model, the fully auto one is more reliable, but they do have a 3 year warrantee. take it back and get a new one.

Phil, hello mate!

yeah they are not very good at all. replace it with a proper bilge pump Rule 1000 is better and connect it to a Jabsco Hydra Switch (which are very reliable)
