[QUOTE=Daniel;503021]Hope the 2nd build is going well Alan - where are you departing from in July, there should be a rib gathering for the send off.

The build planning is fine and it is being built by ABC Marine on Hayling Island. Accessible by water if anyone wants to come and have a look in the spring. The plan is to leave from Seawork or maybe Port Solent. Alan P

There you go Willk - we were worrying about nothing - cirumnavigating Corsica in the nice warm, non-tidal Mediterranean Sea is the same as circumnavigating Ireland with its very tidal, not so warm, combination of interacting water systems ie North Altantic Ocean, Celtic Sea, St George's Channel, Irish Sea and North Channel - and not to mention more headlands than you could shake a fist at - simples

No one said it was impossible - indeed it is very possible - it is done all the time - usually by those who respect the "sea" and the advice of people who have done it before or know their local area

No problems

Yes the west coast of Ireland is trully spectacular - I go to Achill Island, which you will pass on the way to Newport, for a holiday every year.

Merry Christmas
