Emailed to find out the plan and costings etc but i really do think if I miss this I may as well give up and face facts I'm a fair weather boater and done all I'll ever do.

Love to, but with a 2 yr old and 3wk old I've not even been the local for a month never mind go off cruising.

I don't get this I have baby's & kids so I can't do owt
Fair enough you won't take a toddler on a rib but we shared the duties apart from breast feeding
And in general I do what I want

Each to their own mick, but people have very different circumstances. Some have close family, some have no family. Some have easy babies, others have colic. Some work 9-5, others are out the door 6.30am and not back until 7.30pm, with the latter, to bugger off cruising for a whole Saturday just isn't the on the cards. Family first.

Am not knocking you HP it's up to you what you do
I have been very lucky with my 2 and being self employed been able to do what I want both came to work with me after nursery and I dropped them off at school every day until they both left
So make the most of your kids there soon gone.
