Their Facebook page says it was force 7 for most of today's trip,45 mins ago all boats safely in at Rosmoney barring Top Hat, which I think is now in.

I took a look yesterday evening at about 21:00 hrs. Untill you see the size and number of boats in the flesh the undertaking required to organise such an event comes into focus. Some very impressive boats there.

After seeing some of these boats I have come to the conclusion my boat is an inflatable toy in comparison

My father in law came for the look. The only question he asked was " how much petrol would that one drink? this question was directed towards two ribs in particular

The large redbay with a single 300hp and sea wolf with twin 300 hp.

Had hope to see the ribs in Bangor and Killybegs but was unable to go due to health problems, enjoying the pics on here and the FB pages.

Saw Seawolf before when she was based in Ireland... some boat, also saw her doing the Round Ireland record a few years back....

Safe trip to all.

Without wanting to come across critical of the guys with 600Horses attached to their backs. I'm far more admiring if those doing this in boats not 1,000,000 miles away from your 'toy' - 4.7m Searider with a 60, 2 x 4.95m Aluminium Ribs with 75's, 4.8m Gemini, 4.8m Ribcraft.

Talk about "challenge"

SS I would have to agree. but from a boat point of view there were some very impressive boats at Rossmoney last night. Of course it is much easier to complete this event in larger more powerful boats than smaller ones. I had my "toy" a lot of the way prepaired for this event however it was not to be

Spot on Shiny. Those smaller rib guys are, indeed, worthy of praise. Was out there yesterday, it was quite demanding. It takes a great amount of concentration to plug away for hour after hour in those conditions. In fact, not really sure why they do it.

Had a text from Trev last night....

"Baby blue is hanging together well. Only 120 miles tomorrow". (Today)

Good luck to them I say! A great father and son team and in a 1991 SR4.7, the one that me and my dad towed a rather large Ribcraft with
