We arrive at Wolf Rock and we are greeted by seals

We are still doing well and no further problems, but still carrying water...

As always the Isles of Scilly are beautiful and we make our way to the harbour at St Mary's.

Now I've already booked a twin room here, but we are both regretting that, it would have been great to sleep on the beach...

We had a great walk in the evening on Scillies Islands and came to a nice beach .
Alex :
"Hey - let's swim !
I :
"No .. The water is probably cold "
A minute silence ..
Then Alex :
"Come on - let's swim !"
I :
"No - I am not wearing swimming trunks and I have the entire budget in cash in my pocket"
Few seconds silence..
Then Alex :
"Me too .. "
Another few minutes later the crazy British & the crazy German were swimming in pants in the water - always having an eye on our cloth on the beach

So now in the harbour, everyone is fuelling up and everyone is operating like one massive team, as Jurgen bails water with half a mineral water bottle as thats the only thing that will fit through the hatch, I radio to the other teams and ask if anyone has a stirrup pump type of thing.

Sea Salt (Targa) has so Kalish brings it over to us.

We pump out the water taking it in turns and no more water is entering the hull We discuss possible problems and then find that a rear transom box has water in to...

My best guess is that a seam tape is letting water by while at speed and forcing water around the tube and into the box, once this reaches the level of the conduit that takes the cable to the console then waters getting down the conduit. Now the thing is the conduit is perforated to allow water to escape into the hull. Over two days that little trickle has slowed us down.

But there's good news, there's a bung in the bottom of the box which we can leave open and let water to drain onto the deck and if we leave the bilge pump on auto then we'll pump it out.

Jurgen has a better idea... We'll run with one trunk down... Perfect

It's Friday so there's Gig Racing

The evening is beautiful and we soak up the benefits of a Round Britain Cruise.

We have a large table booked at a local restaurant and for the first time we all dine together...

Everyone is really nice, Trevor hands out memory cards for the plotters so we all have the same info and everyone starts to get to know each other

All night both me and Jurgen kept each other awake snoring fresh air, long days at sea and beer

We are also eating fry ups every morning and gaining weight fast!!!

Yep, we can't sleep near each other, not in the same room or the same boat

lets sleep rough

Ok, just looked this up, they hit a submerged object which damaged the leg and they couldn't get parts in time, gutted

Nice cabin RIB
